The main developments have been to the Gas Cathode SNICSII and to the NEC Alphtross.  Beams and performance of the Gas Cathode will be described with particular attention to the effect of the cathode design and differential pumping. Performance with isotope beams will be covered. The manufacture and performance of our ionizers will be described for those interested in adopting the principles for other geometry ionizers.  The effectiveness of the x-ray abatement scheme for the Cs ion sources is described.  Performance of the NEC Alphatross will highlight its excellent performance when left alone and our plans to improve it further.
