# Interpreting Quantum Mechanics

## The Schrödinger Equation could be used to predict the behavior of atoms,
molecules, and solids; however many questions arose regarding its
interpretation. Physics was faced with a new challenge: to build a model from an
equation, rather than an equation from a model.

The most widely accepted view of quantum mechanics came from Niels Bohr and his
associates, and is called the "Copenhagen Interpretation."
