We can calculate frequency either by taking the difference between the final time and the initial time at which pulses arrive and divide this number by 100 - the number of intervals between the first and last groove. We can also calculate the period and use f = 1/T. To determine the times when the listener hears the pulses, we have to consider how long it takes the sound from each groove to reach the listener.
