Please ignore Equations referenced in the hint of Prob. 7-3. They are the wrong ones from an earlier edition of the book.

Your packet is written for the 6th edition of the text. Unfortunately, I belatedly learned most class members will be using the 7th edition. This is not a big deal. A few corrections for the 7th edition are marked electronically in red here. It would be good to take a moment to update your course packet by pen. There are about 9 minor changes; most pages are unaffected. If you are using the 5th edition, that is also okay. You can compare reading assignments between editions here.
