Most born-again Christians believe that the only requirement for salvation is to accept Christ as your savior. Many of them teach that the Mormons worship a "different" Christ, and do not believe that Mormons are saved (they may well teach that of Catholics, too, I'm not sure).

However, I think without exception, the times that I've spoken one on one to a born-again Christian, I've been able to convince them that my belief in the Bible and in Christ is similar enough to theirs that in their view, I will also be saved.
