Alleged Signs of an Approaching Snowy Winter

     (1) Pika haystack size:  the bigger the stacks, the heavier the winter snows will be.

 

     (2) Acorn size:  the bigger the acorns, the heavier the winter snows will be.

     (3) Tortoise hibernation date:  the later the tortoises go into hibernation, the heavier
           the snows will be.
