Most of the materials in the course packet have been rewritten during the past year, and as a result, will inevitably contain errors (typos, ambiguities, mathematical errors, and conceptual weaknesses). I would appreciate your help in eliminating these problems. I will award extra credit to students who email detailed descriptions of errors in the course packet if I agree that a change is in order, and haven't already posted the error on this page. I will determine the amount and type of extra credit based on (1) importance, (2) timeliness (it's good to solve problems before the class gets to them, (3) priority (who found it first?), and (4) location within the packet. An asterisk by your CID means that I haven't applied your extra credit yet.
