There is no required text for this course. Class notes will be posted on this website. However, if you think you are going to be a serious laser user, you should consider a text such as Lasers by Milonni and Eberly, ISBN 0-471-62731-3 ($205 new, $55 used), Lasers by Siegman ($90 new, $70 used), or Laser Fundamentals by Silfvast, ISBN 0-521-83345-0 ($80 new, $60 used) I have copies in my office and you can come look at them any time you would like.

Look on the class calendar for lecture notes and homework. Homework is due Tuesdays and Fridays at 5:00 pm in my office.
