Physics 222 Winter 2012

Physics 222

Welcome to Physics 222! This semester we will learn all about relativity and quantum mechanics. We'll hang out with some of the brightest minds of the 20th century like Einstein, Borh, Pauli, Schroedinger, Heisenberg, Stern, and a bunch of their friends. The class will be hard, but it will be absolutely worth it.

The class schedule for Winter 2012 lists our class as meeting every day. The real class will meet MWF. The T/Th times are homework help sessions. We want these to be as useful as possible. So we'll have to hammer out a format that the class likes. There will be no new material presented in these sessions, so in a sense they are "optional." But hopefully they will be interesting enough that you will all still want to come.

Be sure to check back on these pages often through the semester. I will update the homeworks and exams info periodically. The course calendar might also change. I will post a few notes on these pages as well. Email me if you have any questions.
