Ultra-cold Plasmas
Background
Dr. Bergeson's research in atomic physics includes laser cooling and trapping, ultracold plasmas and strongly-coupled Coulomb systems, and spectroscopy. He also maintains a modest research and development program in biophotonic instrumentation and measurements.
