Remote Desktop Access For Macintosh

The Windows Remote Desktop server for the Physics and Astronomy Department is: remote.physics.byu.edu.

Do not save any personal files on the remote server or any public lab machines. Remote server maintenance may result in deletion of all personal information. Public lab machines (N212, N337, N477, 4th floor labs, etc) may be reinstalled at any time without notice.

Remote Desktop Connection

Download and install the Remote Desktop Client for Macintosh from Microsoft.
Follow the instructions on the Windows page for the Remote Desktop client.

Contact the CSR office if you have any questions or problems connecting to the Remote Desktop server from your Mac.
